What to Expect:

These shells are being offered specifically as Custom Painter Project shells. While many may be unused shells, some may have previously been assembled or used.

Shells may have either a molded-color or painted exterior finish. Because these shells are intended to be refinished, the existing color or finish does not affect their intended use as a Custom Painter Project shell.

Every shell will be inspected before being offered for sale. We will not sell shells with gouges, deep scratches, or other damage that would require repair or additional prep work before painting.

Because these shells are intended to be painted, minor cosmetic conditions that should not affect the finished appearance after normal preparation and painting may be present. These can include:

• Light surface rubs, scuffs, or marks

• Evidence or outlines from previously installed decals

• Shells may have either a molded-color or painted exterior finish. Existing finishes should be properly prepared before applying new primer or paint.

• Adhesive residue inside the shell from removal of the original interior padding

• Witness marks from removal of the rear bumper. These areas will be covered when a replacement rear bumper is installed.

• Original assembly, country-of-origin, or sizing decals may remain inside the shell

• The original exterior warning label may or may not be present

None of these conditions affect the shell's intended use as a custom painting project.
